Ingosstrakh and Tatyana Moskalkova may fall under new EU sanctions

New details of the tenth package of European sanctions, which is still being discussed, leads EUobserver. The publication found out which of the individuals and legal entities can fall under personal sanctions. In particular, according to EUobserver, Tatyana Moskalkova and Ingosstrakh will be on the list.

Who else will be sanctioned?

• In addition to Human Rights Ombudsman Moskalkova, the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Bashkortostan Lenara Ivanova and Deputy Prime Minister of the Moscow Region Vyacheslav Duhin may also fall under sanctions. All three are for "massive abductions of Ukrainian children from the occupied territories."
• Also, another 59 people will be subject to personal sanctions - these are deputy ministers, deputies, senators, prosecutors, military leaders and propagandists. Separately, the EU singles out Major General Alexei Avdeev (for being in areas where "the Russian army committed atrocities against the civilian population"), commander of the airborne troops Mikhail Teplinsky ("for the execution of the inhabitants of Bucha") and Colonel General Sergei Karakaev (“for shelling civilian infrastructure”).
• Among the propagandists will be Yevgeny Primakov, head of Rossotrudnichestvo, which "stirs up pro-war sentiment among Russian émigrés in Europe."
• In addition, the new package of sanctions includes 28 legal entities that face an asset freeze in Europe and a ban on doing business there. In addition to the FNB and three banks (Tinkoff, Alfa-Bank and Rosbank), which were previously known , the Patriot media group, MIA Rossiya Segodnya, as well as Ingostrakh and the Russian National Reinsurance Company may fall under sanctions .
