Tinkoff Investments announced a temporary suspension of trading in foreign securities from February 27. This is stated in the telegram channel "Tinkoff Investments".
“We are transferring foreign securities traded on the St. Petersburg Exchange to an unsanctioned campaign.
In order to avoid the risk of blocking, as well as to take all necessary actions for the transfer, we are temporarily suspending trading in foreign securities. Within 1-3 weeks, we plan to launch bidding,” the message says.
Trading in securities with settlements in rubles on the Moscow Exchange will be available in the standard mode.
A day ago, the European Union published the tenth package of sanctions against Russia. The sanctions list included Tinkoff, as well as Alfa-Bank, Rosbank and the Russian National Welfare Fund.
It is assumed that sanctioned banks will be disconnected from SWIFT, their assets in the EU countries will be frozen, and transactions with them will be prohibited.
