The Minister of Defense of Estonia visited Kyiv and announced the new package of military assistance for Ukraine

Estonian Minister of Defense Hanno Pevuru visited Kyiv and announced a new military assistance package for Ukraine. This was reported by ERR and Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov on Facebook.

The new assistance package includes automatic machines, pistols, unmanned aerial vehicles, thermal imagers, generators and charger, as well as clothing for special forces of Ukraine.

“I am delighted with the people of Estonia and their support,” Reznikov wrote.

Estonia provided Ukraine with military assistance in the amount of almost 400 million euros - this is more than 1% of the country's gross domestic product.

Estonia previously handed over to Ukraine, in particular, missiles of the Javelin anti -tank missile system, howitzers, anti -tank mines, anti -tank grenade launchers, mortars, vehicles, communications, medicines, personal protective equipment and food products.

In addition, in cooperation with Germany, Estonia handed over to Ukraine two field hospitals and medicines worth about 15 million euros. In cooperation with the Netherlands and Norway, the third field hospital worth 7.8 million euros. He will arrive in Ukraine in the coming weeks.
