In Khabarovsk, they arrested 15 days a picketer who spoke in support of Sergei Furgal

In Khabarovsk, Andrei Stafeev was arrested for 15 days because of the picket in support of Sergei Furgal. This was announced by a lawyer from the OTD-info Vitaly Groke, who represents his interests.

The man was found guilty under the article on re -violation of the rally legislation (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). On February 25, he was detained on Lenin Square with the flag "Freedom Furgal!" and a poster in support of the former governor of the Khabarovsk Territory.

In September 2022, Stapheev was already detained for a similar action. Then he drew up a protocol on a violation by the participant in the action of the rules for its holding (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

• Since the detention of the ex-governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Sergey Furgal in July 2020, shares have been held in Russian cities in his support. Protesters believe that the persecution is due to the fact that Furgal won the governor’s elections from the candidate from United Russia, as well as the fact that the region showed one of the lowest voting results for amendments to the Constitution. In February 2023, the van was sentenced to 22 years in the colony.
