In Belarus, local partisans blew up a Russian reconnaissance aircraft

Belarusian partisans carried out sabotage at the Machulishchi airfield. As a result, the Russian A-50 early warning aircraft stationed there was put out of action. This was reported in BYPOL, an organization of former Belarusian security officials who are fighting against the regime of Alexander Lukashenko.

According to them, several explosions thundered at the airfield, which is used by the Russian military, early Sunday morning. As a result, the Russian AWACS A-50 reconnaissance aircraft received serious damage.

“As a result of two explosions, the front and central parts of the aircraft were damaged, avionics and a radar antenna were damaged. The damage is serious, the plane will definitely not fly anywhere,” BYPOL said.

According to the organization, the Belarusian special services have already begun to hunt down the Belarusians who comment on the news about what happened at the Machulishchi airfield on social networks.
