Details. The court removed preliminary protection measures from the house of Basevich and allowed the construction on Bolshaya Pushkarskaya, 7 and 9. During the meeting, representatives of the Gosstroynadzor said that they were not going to demolish Basevich’s house. According to them, the “front part of the building” will be preserved, the “SOS SPb Demolis” reported in the telegram channel.
However, the designers of the Dance Academy Boris Eifman, who are planned to be built on the site of Basevich’s house, added that they plan to “dismantle the courtyard buildings from the depths of the quarter to the street”.
In addition, less than 25 % of the buildings are planned to be strengthened with piles that will be installed for attaching the foundation. The rest of the Basevich’s house will be completely destroyed, the city defenders said.
“A foundation pit will appear on the site of the existing building, everything that is now - with the exception of part of the facial corps - will be destroyed,” the authors of the lawsuit added.
Expertise. On February 17, city-defenders unveiled a forensic examination of the UK, which was conducted in November 2022. According to the examination, the Basevich house can be partially reconstructed and restored without demolition. However, experts called the walls of the walls on the last floors and the roof of emergency.
The roof and roofing were most affected - experts estimated their damage at 95 %. Basevich’s foundation received the least damage - 41 %.

What is known about the house of Basevich. Close -defenders have opposed the construction of the hostel of the Academy of Dance Boris Eifman on the site of Basevich’s house since 2019.
In December 2022, the SK removed the status of material evidence from the building, explaining this by the fact that the developer Setl City presented the necessary documents about cultural heritage sites, as well as the conclusion of the KGIOP. A few days later they began to demolish the kindergarten at the Basevich’s house.
In January, the city court of St. Petersburg left the decision of the Kuibyshevsky district court: the building was recognized as completely and subject to demolition. Later, city defenders asked to recognize Basevich’s house as an object of cultural heritage.
