In Sevastopol, the security forces opened a criminal case against a 62-year-old local resident due to painted Ukrainian flags. This was reported in the group of the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Sevastopol in VKontakte.
The woman is accused of vandalism, perfect by the political motive (part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, on the night of February 17, she applied to fences, benches and walls of houses, which are located in the Balaklava district of the city, the flags of Ukraine.

According to the woman, she did this, as “loves Ukraine” and “decided to personally support her.” The pensioner was detained with the help of employees of the ED center and the FSB. Whether she was appointed a measure of restraint is unknown. Now the security forces are studying evidence in the case and interviewing eyewitnesses.
