In the Crimean Peninsula, 84 children from the Kherson region now live in the Evpatoriya camp in Yevpatoria in the Evpatoria, reports the Kryma News Tape.
According to the publication, for the children taken out of the territory of Ukraine, they organized comfortable conditions for relaxation, leisure and educational process. Children study in individual programs, play, play sports.
“According to the camp leadership, children with particular interest teach the history of Russia, explore the period of the Great Patriotic War, and also learn patriotic songs,” said the head of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, appointed by Russia.
In early October, the Russian occupation authorities of the Kherson region announced the holidays for schoolchildren and recommended that they send them for healing to Crimea and Russian regions. The authorities of Russia annexed by Russia announced the readiness to accept 5 thousand Kherson children in Crimea. They are contained in the Evpatoria camps "Friendship", "Hebitsa", "Radiant", "Mriya" and "Seagull". Children are not returned to parents due to the fact that they allegedly "cannot find" or because they "do not show interest in their own children."
According to the Laboratory of Humanitarian Studies of the Yale School of Public Health, Russia retains at least 6 thousand children who have been taken from Ukraine from four months to 17 years in special camps for "political re -education". It is likely that their real number is much larger. In total, the researchers counted 43 such institutions, most of them are located in the annexed Crimea.
The Rain TV channel found 24 Russian boarding schools where Ukrainian children were taken out. In most institutions, children are subjected to "military-patriotic" education: they are forced to listen to the briefings of the representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov and make trench candles.
Crimea is Ukrainian both according to the laws of Ukraine and according to international law. The UN General Assembly in its resolution 68/262 of March 27, 2014 and in many other documents confirms the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its international recognized borders with the Crimea.
According to Russian law, Crimea is part of Russia. Moscow controls the peninsula since 2014.
