The Tushinsky District Court of Moscow sent 25-year-old Philip Medvedev to a pre-trial detention center, against whom a criminal case was opened for calls for terrorism because of an audio message in a telegram. this reported correspondent A Sota.Vision from the courtroom.

On the night of April 14, 2022, a few hours after the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the loss of the cruiser Moskva, Medvedev reposted a post about this to several dozen subscribers on his Telegram channel and posted an audio message (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code).

“Launch a fucking salvo from the Iskanders.” Kill them all there. Let them burn in the righteous fire of retribution. Strike directly at the FSB headquarters in Moscow. Bomb this building, please, fuck,” the recording said. The Beware the News project calls the audio a parody of the outraged video by YouTuber Kamikaze Dee.

Medvedev, under the nickname “Philipp von Herzen,” in addition to the Telegram channel, also maintained a public page on VKontakte. Although it is currently unavailable, a copy is stored in the Yandex cache. Medvedev opposed the war and wrote about the leaders of the Libertarian Party of Russia. In 2021, he was fined for participating in a January rally in support of Alexei Navalny.

In May 2022, as Sota.Vision notes, Medvedev was detained because he “punctured the tires of a car with the letter Z stuck on it.” According to the protocol of disobedience to police officers during arrest, the activist was then sentenced to 10 days of arrest (Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code). He then claimed in a telegram that FSB officers communicated with him, who offered to “cooperate” and threatened to persecute him.

In November, due to damage to the wheels, the magistrate sentenced Medvedev to eight months of corrective labor under the article on damaging someone else’s property (Part 1 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code). As a Sota.Vision correspondent reports, the investigator said in court that the Muscovite after that “tried to escape from the country twice and was detained at the Russian-Georgian border.”

Starting from January 23, 2023, the Tushinsky District Court sentenced Medvedev to 15 days of administrative arrest three times. The first time - because of a picture in his public page, where Medvedev photoshopped the “Black Sun” symbol and the flag of the Russian Liberation Army of General Vlasov onto his photograph (Article 20.3 of the Administrative Code).
