In the village of Pryatnoe Svidanie, Simferopol region of Crimea, FSB officers conducted a search in the house of Crimean Tatars on February 28. Crimean Solidarity reports this.
“From what the FSB officers read, the family understood that this was about the damage to the railway track in Pochtovoy. Some anonymous person indicated that the eldest son, Abdullah, could have been involved in this. But he has been outside Crimea for several months now,” said lawyer Edem Semedlyaev. He arrived at the house, but I could only go inside when the search was over.
A mother and children, including minors, were in the house during the search. The security forces forbade her to call her lawyer and her husband, who was at work.
Investigative activities began at six in the morning and lasted about an hour. The family refused to sign the search report.
The damage to the railway near the village of Pochtovoye, Bakhchisaray district, was discovered on February 23. As a result, train traffic from Simferopol to Sevastopol was suspended.
