The operational headquarters of the Chelyabinsk region banned local residents from using drones. This was reported to TASS in the regional Ministry of Public Security.
“Currently, a ban on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles has been established in the Chelyabinsk region. The ban was established by the decision of the operational headquarters of the Chelyabinsk region for the period until the lifting of the "Basic readiness level" regime," the ministry said.
The restrictions will not apply to drones used by federal and regional departments, organizations that carry out state defense orders, as well as institutions that have agreed to use drones with the authorities.
At the end of January, similar restrictions were introduced in the Oryol and Voronezh regions. Similar decrees also apply to the territory of the Perm Territory, Kuban, Tatarstan, the republics of Mari El and North Ossetia, Voronezh, Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Tula, Saratov, Rostov, Volgograd, Orenburg, Kaluga and Kirov regions.
