PMC "Wagner" opened recruitment centers in schools and sports clubs where children train

PMC Wagner has opened dozens of military recruitment centers in Russia, some of which are located in schools and sports clubs attended by children. The addresses of the recruitment centers were checked by Taiga.info journalists.

On March 10, the press service of Yevgeny Prigozhin announced that Wagner PMC centers had opened in 42 cities of Russia. She also published a list of addresses.

The publication "Taiga.info" found that in Omsk, recruiters opened the club "Paratrooper" right in the building of gymnasium No. 147.

In Barnaul, the address of the PMC center coincides with the address of the municipal children's educational institution - a branch of the sports school of the Olympic reserve No. 3. It is called "Fighting Gloves" and is considered to be the oldest boxing club in the city.

In Irkutsk, they offer to join the recruitment center through the Profi sports club, which is located in the building of the State Olympic Reserve School.

In Krasnoyarsk, Wagner PMC recruits and trains people at the Siberian Center of Russian Martial Art club. There, hand-to-hand combat is also practiced by children from four years old.

The situation is similar in Chita. There, future mercenaries are invited to the Ostrovsky fight club, where children also train.

Over the past year, Yevgeny Prigozhin has been recruiting Russian prisoners for the war in Ukraine. They received a presidential pardon and went to the front. On February 9, the head of Wagner PMC announced the end of this “program”.

Mercenary work in Russia is still prohibited by law. Art. 359 of the Criminal Code provides for mercenaries up to 15 years in prison, and for recruiters - up to 18 years.
