Three pro-Russian activists arrested in Estonia

The Harju County Court of Estonia arrested the leader of the Koos movement Aivo Peterson, as well as his associates Dmitry Roots and Andrei Andronov, for two months. It is reported by Postimees.

All three are suspected of committing crimes against Estonia. Details of the criminal case are not disclosed, but we are talking about the connections of activists with Russia, the newspaper notes.

Aivo Peterson participated in the parliamentary elections that took place in the republic on March 5, 2023. Before that, he traveled to occupied Donetsk, and then visited Moscow, where he met with one of the main Russian propagandists, Vladimir Solovyov.

Koos member Oleg Ivanov said that the activists of the movement will seek the release of their associates. He added that members of the organization are going to establish a political party and the arrest of Peterson will not interfere with this.
