The court has scheduled a hearing for March 15 on the lawsuit to limit the rights of the parents of a schoolgirl who drew an anti-war drawing in an art lesson.

The Efremovsky Interdistrict Court of the Tula Region has scheduled an interview for March 15 as part of a lawsuit to limit the parental rights of Alexei Moskalev, who is under house arrest in the case of “discrediting” the army. This was reported in the telegram channel of the Moskalev support group.

Security forces turned their attention to the 53-year-old man in April 2022, after he was called to school because of his daughter Masha’s drawing against the war in Ukraine in a pre-trial detention center lesson. Moskalev was then fined because of an anti-war comment, and at the end of the year a criminal case was opened against him because of a post on Odnoklassniki (Part 1 of Article 280.3 of the Criminal Code).

On March 1, Alexei Moskalev was detained again, and Masha was sent to social rehabilitation center No. 5. The next day, the court placed the man under house arrest, but his daughter was not returned to him . Visitors, including local deputy Olga Podolskaya, were not allowed to see her .

It turned out that in January Efremova’s commission for minors filed a lawsuit to limit the parental rights of both the girl’s parents—both her father and her mother, Olga Sitchikhina, who has been living in another city for a long time. The claim was registered in court at the end of February.
