The court of Khakassia received a criminal case of insulting the feelings of believers against a resident of Abakan

The court of Khakassia received a criminal case that was initiated against a 22-year-old resident of Abakan under the article on insulting the feelings of believers (part 1 of article 148 of the Criminal Code) for publishing drawings and photographs on social networks. This is reported by the Information and Analytical Center "Sova" with reference to the website of the UK.

According to investigators, from 2016 to 2021, the Abakan citizen published a total of 23 drawings and photographs on social networks, the content of which defames and distorts the attributes of Christianity, and also offends the feelings of believers.

The defendant has now pleaded guilty.
