In Transbaikalia, the court decided to recover 50 million rubles from the former head of the village of Atamanovka Sergey Ushakov for negligence, the regional prosecutor's office said . Earlier, the criminal case against the official was terminated due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

In 2016, Ushakov issued decisions on the provision of ownership to two country partnerships of three land plots with a total area of more than 25 hectares. The plots were sold for 1.7 million rubles with their market value at that time 52.4 million rubles. The damage from the action of the official amounted to 50.7 million rubles.

In fact, a criminal case was opened under the article "negligence, which caused damage on an especially large scale." In August 2021, by the Decree of the Chita District Court, the case was terminated on an non -rehabilitating basis - in connection with the expiration of the statute of limitations.
