Director of the Pushkin Museum Marina Loshak wrote a letter of resignation

On March 20, the director of the State Museum of Fine Arts named after Pushkin, on March 20, wrote a statement of dismissal of her own free will, she confirmed to rain.

The new director, according to RBC, may become Elizaveta Likhachev, who has been leading the Schusev Museum of Architecture from 2017 since 2017. Officially, Loshak departure from the post of director of the Pushkin Museum neither in the Ministry of Culture or the Museum was commented on.

For the first time, the information that Loshak could leave his position appeared in telegram-channels a few days after the dismissal of the director of the Tretyakov Gallery of the Zelfira Tregulova. The museum’s press service then refuted this, the horser herself also said that she plans to stay in positions at least until the expiration of the contract.

The fact that Tregulova leaves the position of general director of the Tretyakov Gallery in connection with the completion of the term of the labor contract became known in early February. The new director of the Tretyakov Gallery was the daughter of the FSB General Vladimir Pronichev Elena, who since 2020 headed the Polytechnic Museum.
