Arkhangelsk: student Krivtsova, accused of “discrediting”, was arrested in absentia

A court in Arkhangelsk arrested in absentia student Olesya Krivtsova, who is accused of “discrediting” the army and justifying terrorism for posts on social networks about the war in Ukraine, SOTA reports . Previously, she was put on the federal wanted list.

The investigation requested an arrest. Krivtsova, by court decision, should be arrested for two months from the moment of actual detention in Russia.

Criminal cases have been initiated against Krivtsova for reposting a publication by Arkhangelsk activist Ilya Leshukov in a closed chat with classmates, as well as anti-war stories on Instagram mentioning the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. Presumably, the denunciation against Krivtsova was written by her classmates. She was included in the Rosfinmonitoring list of terrorists and extremists.

At first, the court chose a preventive measure for Krivtsova in the form of a ban on certain actions, but then sent her under house arrest. On March 15, it became known that Krivtsova had left Russia and was in Lithuania. It is unknown how exactly she crossed the border - the student refused to talk about it. On March 20, it became known that Olesya Krivtsova was put on the federal wanted list.
