The defendant of two cases about discrediting the army extended the maintenance in pre -trial detention center for a month

The Lomonosovsky District Court of the Leningrad Region for a month extended the content of activist Dmitry Skurikhin in the pre -trial detention center, who takes place at once two cases of re -discrediting the army (part 1 of article 280.3 of the Criminal Code). It is reported by RusNews.

The first criminal case against a man was opened due to a poster against mobilization on the facade of a store owned by an activist. On September 23, 2022, Skurikhin was a search, after which he was detained. Then he was assigned a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions.

In February, Skurikhin became a suspect already in the second such case, then he was sent to a pre -trial detention center. The reason for the initiation of the second business was a picket with the poster “Sorry, Ukraine!”, Which the activist spent on February 24 - on the anniversary of a full -scale invasion - a photograph of this action appeared in many media outlets. The repetition of the act in the new criminal case was explained by the presence of the first.

After the picket to the house, where the man’s family celebrated the anniversary of the wedding of his parents, a police car drove up. Law enforcement officers interviewed the activist within an hour, and then left. Later, relatives noticed the surveillance of Skurikhin.

In May 2022, the Leninsky District Court of St. Petersburg fined Skurikhin for 45 thousand rubles under an administrative article on discrediting the Russian army (part 1 of article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The case was opened because of the video that the man placed in his telegram channel.

In the video, the activist stood in his hands with three photos, each of which depicts the body and the inscription: "Boy 14 years old." He pronounced the text: “I am an active citizen Skurikhin Dmitry from the Leningrad Region, protesting against the war. Putin and his group are cancer, it is a cancer tumor that has absorbed the whole of Russia, and now lets its metastases in Ukraine and around the world. Russians, stop this disease, stop this infection! There is no war in Ukraine! ” Behind the man’s back, three posters were placed with photographs from the territory of military operations and inscriptions about the war.
