The participant of our project “After” lawyer and political analyst Vladimir Pastukhov writes:
“The first and most important condition for the“ recovery ”of Russia is the formation of an inter -glue altruistic unpopulistic nucleus, the basic property of which is a religious or quasi -religious belief in its mission to“ salvation ”of Russian civilization and a sense of responsibility, which is indifferent to purely political goals (desire for power). In short, Russia needs not ideology, but ideology (from the word “idealism”). Russian idealism is a terrible power, but today it is in bad hands. It is necessary to convey to good ones.
The second condition is the restoration of the political role of the elites and suppression of all populism: left, right, patriotic, democratic and even revolutionary. The mass should again become structured and controlled.
The third condition is the formation of a counter-by a civil society that allows you to keep the elite in a certain political corridor in order to prevent the repetition of the path made by Russia in the 90s. The new Russian state should be elitist in content and democratic in form. ”
