The Mediazone correspondent managed to contact the Russian sergeant Klim Kerzhaev, whom the Ukrainian police suspect of the execution of the Civil Mazda near the village of Bolshaya Kamyshevak in the Kharkov region in June 2022. This was reported by the publication itself.
In a conversation, the soldier confirmed that his last name is Kerzhaev, but stated that "he is not a military man." When asked a journalist about how it happened that he appears in a Ukrainian investigation, the soldier said:
“I don't know how what happened there. I say I'm not a soldier. ”
According to the publication, the military voice was like on an entry previously published by the Ukrainian police and the prosecutor's office. The phone call, which Kerzhaev made his wife on the day of the shooting of a car with civilians, managed to intercept Ukrainian intelligence.
In a conversation on June 23, 2022, the sergeant admitted to the wife of Anastasia:
"I am people ... I killed a man today, on a dick!"
In response, she asked: "Khokhla, or what?" He confirmed: "Yes, yes, yes."

Kerzhaev also in a conversation with the Mediazona denied that his wife was called Anastasia. The publication was contacted with it. The girl who answered the call said that she was not married and did not understand who Klim Kerzhaev is. On her avatar in WhatsApp there was a photo with her husband, and her family photos were photos of their family. Now her Instagram is closed.
She invited the Mediazone correspondent to “engage in balabolism” and said that the man in the photograph was not a husband, but her minor brother Kerzhaev Maxim Mikhailovich. Also, the interlocutor "Mediazons" advised to "come to Russia", and not to call from "Khokhlanda".

In the executed Mazda were Ukrainians Valery Ponomarev and Andrei Bogomaz, who went to Bakhmut from Kharkov to evacuate the parents of the girl. When a Russian shell hit the car, Andrei was injured. The girl imposed his bandages to him. At this time, the Copter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine watched the road, which helped Valeria find the way to the Ukrainian military. The next day, Andrei came to them.

Filming from this drone formed the documentary “Go for me” Ukrainian director Lubomir Levitsky. The film was released in January. The investigation of the shooting on the civilian car also reached CNN.
On March 21, the police of the Kharkiv region announced the investigation of the case, which initiated after shelling the Mazda under an article on violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Kerzhaev is one of the suspects.
