Among this standard set there is a new type of dessert about which the locals are joking: “When it appeared on the shelves, everyone forgot about ordinary.” This is soak baklava or (literally from the Turkish) cold baccaman. In the recipe, instead of sugar syrup, milk is used, generously sprinkled with chocolate crumbs and served with cold - hence the name. Tender, not cloying and so juicy that it seems to be on the hands, while you eat.
