VKontakte blocked the page “Russians against war” at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office

The social network VKontakte, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, blocked the Russians Against War community. The founder of the group, Anton Podgorny, told OVD-Info about this.

The group posted information about the war in Ukraine.

• Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, VKontakte has been massively blocking the pages of opposition activists and politicians , as well as the public pages of independent publications and communities . Similar blockings were carried out by Odnoklassniki. In some cases, Telegram channels and podcasts on the Yandex.Music and SoundStream platforms were also blocked.
