More than 30 % of the budget was classified in Russia

The Russian authorities classified a third of the federal budget expenditures for the period from January to March 24, 2023. This money could go to war in Ukraine, suggests Bloomberg. The "agency" drew attention to this.

Details. According to the "electronic budget", the income of the federal budget during this period amounted to 3.46 trillion rubles, and the expenses - 7.37 trillion. Bloomberg indicates that it is not known how they spent a third of this amount - 2.4 trillion rubles.

Compared to last year during the same period, the closed part of the budget doubled, the newspaper writes.

From the open part of the budget it follows that the expenses of national defense are now second only to expenses under the article “Social Policy”.

Bloomberg suggests that secret expenses include the cost of war with Ukraine.
