During a conversation about the activities of public organizations and movements at consultations, you see that many take events and implement projects, but do not think about their design. There are simply shares in the reception of raw materials, there are cleaning, there is a improvement of some territory, there is a conduct of educational events. What is the name of this project? There is no name.
I am for each project to have its own name, logo, slogan/motto, description. It should be clear from it who is this project, why it is, what is its goal and task. This can be fixed in the description of the movement group (“Our projects”), on a separate project page, in the section on the site.
The name can be invented through a brainstorming with a team of volunteers. The logo for the project can be made very budget or even for free through the ProCharity portal or declare a competition in your community.
Why do you need all this? This attracts the attention of the audience and the media more, it is better remembered. Which is better: a waste collection rally or the action “take and not give up”, the action of collecting coniferous trees or “Christmas trees, sticks and chips”. If there is a need to brand the printing, merchants or other materials, then the logo is put there, and simply “promotion” is written. When you submit a project for contests, grants or communicate with sponsors, you also need a specific project with the name, and not a nameless something without description.
I see this so that the name of your organization or movement is like the last name of your whole family, and the name of the project is the name of your child. A child without a name is not a separate person, but something incomprehensible.
If you need help in this, write, we will make a meeting to put the projects in order :)
