
The Cassation Court in Primorye canceled the acquittal of the artist Julia Tsvetkova. She was accused of spreading pornography due to the publication of drawings in the public “Vagina monologues” on the VKontakte social network. This was reported by New Gazeta on March 28.
The cassation court sent the case of the artist Julia Tsvetkova for a new consideration. The mother of the girl Anna Khodyreva told reporters that the verdict may have been canceled due to participation in the FSB case.
After the approval of the acquittal in the appeal in September 2022, it became known that Tsvetkova left Russia.
In the fall of 2019, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against the artist and director of the Merc Theater from Komsomolsk-on-Amur Yulia Tsvetkova. The reason was the "monologues of the vagina" located in its public in its public in the VKontakte social network abstract drawings of the female body. Until March 2020, the artist was under house arrest, and in June, investigators made her official accusation of the spread of pornography.
