
The Yoshkar-Olin court fined the human rights organization "Man and the Law" for 150 thousand rubles. The reason was the lack of a margin of foreign agent in reposts in Telegram. This was reported by human rights activists on March 28.
The chairman of the organization Irina Protasova tried to explain to the judge that in Telegram it was technically not to add a note to repost. However, the court did not take this into account and fined the “man and the law” for 150 thousand rubles.
On the same day, on March 28, it became known that the head of the Road Voice, Sofia, Roskomnadzor, drew up a protocol on the absence of a non -agent label (part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The reason was the post in the telegram channel of Ivanova that on February 24, flowers appeared at the monument to the victims of political repression in Ryazan. “Ryazan is still alive,” she wrote, and set a disclaimer, in which she called herself a “strange agent”.
In January, the Ministry of Justice asked the Supreme Court to liquidate the organization "Man and the Law". This happened after a denunciation, who could write an employee of the Ministry of Justice for a human rights organization.
"Man and the Law" has been working in Mari El since 1999. The organization conducted cases of torture by residents of the republic from the police and helped the victims go to the ECHR. In 2014, the organization was recognized as an foreigner.
