FSB wants to get round -the -clock access to geolocation of taxi passengers

The FSB prepared a draft government decree, according to which the special services will be able to receive information from the databases of the taxi aggregators, drew attention to the "Vedomosti".

According to the document, if it is adopted on September 1, 2023, the service of the passenger taxi (for example, Yandex GO) will be obliged to transfer to security forces from 3 to 10 days “24 -hour remote access” to their bases in which applications for the service are stored, processed and transferred.

The FSB also wants to include in the list of transmitted information the monitoring of geolocation and data on the source of payment.
