The Dzerzhinsky District Court of Perm fined ex-deputy Konstantin Okunev 20,000 rubles because of posts on VKontakte. The fine is reported on the website of the court; attention to this was drawn by the Information and Analytical Center "Sova".
Okunev was found guilty under the article on inciting hatred or enmity (part 1 of article 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The protocol for it was drawn up in December 2022, and the court made a decision on March 16.
The reason for the persecution was the publications on VKontakte with the headings "LIE LIKE, BREATHE", "PUTINISM'S NUCLEAR ELECTORATE" and "SPECIAL OPERATION IS GOING AS PLAN". Specialists who carried out linguistic expertise found in these publications a "negative assessment" of those "who support the political course of the President of Russia V. V. Putin."
