The press service of the university explained that the MIPT is discussing the formats and volumes of the introduction of the Chinese language as the second obligatory after English, so that graduates are able to read technical documentation and scientific publications.

The MFTs argue that in Chinese, up to 27% of all scientific articles in the fields profile for the university are currently written in Chinese, and by 2030 to half of all technical and engineering documentation will be published in Chinese.
