Masha Moskaleva’s mother stated that she wants to take her daughter from the shelter. The last time they saw each other was several years ago.

Masha Moskaleva’s mother Olga Sitchikhina is going to pick up her daughter from the shelter where she ended up after her father Alexei Moskalev was accused of repeatedly “discrediting” the army. On March 28, the court sentenced Moskalev to two years in prison.

Olga Sitchikhina, writes “7×7 - Horizontal Russia”, lives with her husband and 17-year-old daughter in the Tambov region, works as a security guard and travels to Moscow to work.

Sitchikhina told 7x7 that she was going to pick up her daughter from the orphanage as soon as she returned from her shift in Moscow. Guardianship authorities and Tambov officials have already inspected Sitchikhina’s house. According to her, they and the director of the shelter liked the family's home. Masha Moskaleva’s mother is going to give up shift work and take care of the house and family.

I intend to stay at home, and my husband and brother will work; no one will sit without money. I have a large garden: I know that in winter there will be twists and meat. In the village we don’t have any work as such, and the city is 25 kilometers away from us. Buses run every other day, so I can’t find work in the city.

According to Sitchichina, Masha previously refused to go to her, even while Alexei Moskalev was under arrest, but now she asks to pick her up.

Sitchikhina claims that Moskalev “kicked her out of the apartment and forbade her to communicate with her daughter.” Nevertheless, according to Masha’s mother, she and her daughter called each other and corresponded on VKontakte. However, the last time, according to Sitchikhina, she saw her daughter “probably in the second grade.” Now Masha is in sixth grade.

Sitchikhin claims that she is not going to forbid her daughter to see Moskalev, even if he is sent to a colony, and will not object if Masha wants to live with her father again after his release. However, Masha’s mother said that she did not understand “what Moskalev taught her” - she herself does not get involved in politics, and “her head is not filled with anything.” Masha’s mother hopes that she will “beat off her politics, anti-propaganda and drawings.”

Sitchikhin said that she received threats and reproaches for leaving the child. On April 6, she plans to be present via video link at the trial to restrict Alexei Moskalev’s parental rights - “so that everyone knows that I exist, communicate with my daughter and want to take her.”

“No guardianship! - she said. “I simply won’t allow a stranger to raise my daughter!” I won’t leave her!”

FSB officers “had a conversation” with the girl, and first an administrative protocol was drawn up against her father, Alexei Moskalev, about “discrediting” the Russian army because of a comment on Odnoklassniki, and then a criminal case was opened about repeated “discrediting” the army. Alexey Moskalev was sent under house arrest, and Masha was sent to a shelter. On March 28, Moskalev was sentenced to two years in prison; he escaped from house arrest , but on the night of March 30 he was detained in Minsk.
