The court in Moscow arrested an MIF employee in the case of Fakes about the Russian army due to two comments on the forum on the Internet

The Grandmother's District Court of Moscow arrested an employee of the Moscow Physics and Technical Institute (MIPT) Viktor Moskalev in the case of the distribution of “fakes” about the Russian army (paragraph “d” of part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). This was reported in the United press service of Moscow courts of general jurisdiction.

A record about this also appeared on the court website. Moskalev will stay under arrest until at least May 22.

OVD-Info reports that the case was opened due to two comments on the E- Xecutive.ru website, published on April 9, 2022. In one of them, Mosklev wrote that the Russian troops were erased from the face of the earth Mariupol and fired a lot of Chernihiv, Kharkov and Kiev. The second, among other things, said that Russian soldiers robbed the civilian population, and also raped and killed Ukrainian girls. E- Xecutive.ru is an Internet community for managers, the project website said.

Moskalev holds the position of project manager at the Center for Scientific and Technical Initiatives in the PRODUCTION in the direction of “Mobile Energy Technology”. The university itself informed RIA Novosti that they did not know about the essence of Moskalev’s charges.

“In his professional activity [he] is busy with civilian developments, he has no admission to state secret. From the part of colleagues is characterized positively, ”said the university.

On March 28, the security forces came home to Moskalev and his wife Natalia. They seized all the equipment and detained an employee of the MIPT.
