In the Kirov region, the SK is investigating the murder of a local resident. BAZA claims that the suspect is a convicted murder of the Wagner PMC mercenary

In the city of Vyatskiye Polyany, the Kirov region, on suspicion of killing a local resident, detained the mercenary of the Wagner PMC Ivan Rossomakhin, who should now serve a 14-year term for another murder. This was reported by the Baza telegram channel and the local publication Omutninsky Vesti .

It is alleged that on March 29, a woman with stab wounds was discovered in one of the houses in the Vyatka Polyany. The media reported that the police are investigating and detained the suspect.

Information about this was also confirmed by the Investigative Department of the IC in the Kirov region.

“The investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Kirov region is investigated by a criminal case on the death of a resident of the city of Vyatskiye Polyana, initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder),” the press release said.

The department also reported that the 28-year-old suspect was charged.

According to the media, the detainee is a Wagner PMC mercenary from the village of New Burets Ivan Rossomakhin, who came on vacation from the war in Ukraine. In 2020, he was sentenced to 14 years in prison in the case of murder and robbery. The court ruled that in 2019 he strangled a fellow villager, who tried to drive him out of his yard. A month later, he robbed a passer -by in the city of Vyatka Polyany, said in a court decision. As the investigation established, during both episodes, Rossomakhin was intoxicated. Now he must serve the deadline, but was recruited to the Wagner PMC and went to fight in Ukraine.

At the end of March, he returned to the new Boukee on vacation. A few days later, the local television channel “Vyatka Polyany” issued a report that Rossomakhin “keeps the villagers in fear, threatening their lives.”

A local resident Galina Sapozhnikova said that Rossomakhin began to drink after returning from the war. According to her, he walked around the village with a pitchfork and an ax and shouted: "I will kill everyone, I will cut the whole family."

The director of the local enterprise Rus Ruslan Rupasov said that his subordinates were “afraid to go to work” because of the return of Rossomakhin to the village.

In addition, the report showed a record from surveillance cameras, which shows how Rossomakhin, holding an ax in his hand, breaks the windows of a parked car. It is not known why he did it.

The report also showed a meeting of the residents of the village with the local district police officer Gabdrakhmanov. He said that on March 22 he detained a drunk Rossomakhin, who walked with a knife and an ax, and the next day the mercenary was arrested for five days for petty hooliganism.

“We have such an individual Rossomakhin, who returned with him. It was expected that he would be wearing because the person is problematic. Now he is on a day - administratively arrested. Tomorrow evening, he ends for a day, we let him go, he, accompanied by employees, goes here. Of course, there is not enough faith to him, but we agreed that he was collecting his belongings, <...> And on Tuesday, we put him on the train so that he would dump it out of here, ”he promised.

According to the district police officer, Rossomakhin had to go on a vacation until May, but the police agreed with him to return to the front earlier.

It is not known how a man became a suspect of murder and whether the promised measures were taken against him.

The situation was also commented by the head of the Wagner PMC Evgeny Prigozhin.

“Regarding Ivan Rossomakhin, it is very bad that he committed a crime. And, of course, we are ready to promote law enforcement agencies about any of our former fighter, ”he wrote. The businessman also advised local residents to contact the Wagner PMC personally if the former prisoners begin to behave in this way upon returning home. Prigozhin promised to send in such cases a recruiting group that would quickly take the mercenaries back to the front.
