Olga Alexandrovna once bought an ordinary cane by a son. She made the second herself - from a large branch of poplar. When the trial of Sergey began in February, she dazzled the alarm, cutting geometric patterns on the bark.

It’s hard to believe, but Olga Alexandrovna is only 54 years old. Due to the rheumatoid arthritis , which she was diagnosed in 2019, she does not work, almost does not leave the house and even wears a scarf on her head: the disease exacerbated the sensitivity to the cold.

As luck would have it, this winter in Solovievsk, the temperature dropped to minus 46 at night, this means constant interruptions with light and warmth. Olga Alexandrovna did not take off the fur coat and boots in the apartment, but this did not save. In the morning it seemed that she would not get out of bed: from the cold, the inflamed joints hurt more and bend even worse. Heating was established, but Stenkin no longer removes the scarf from the head.

Freezing left other consequences. The Stenkin apartment is located in a two -story wooden hut of the Soviet era, where pipes freeze in the cold. When this happened once again, the locksmith disconnected the bath. Now a bunch of old pipes sticks out there. As she is now washed, Olga Alexandrovna asks not to write, specifying only that "difficulties arise with washing."

Stenkina wanders around the apartment, talks with her three cats: Musey, Vasya and Basyo, whom she named in honor of the Japanese poet of the 17th century. Every day she prays and, sometimes, draws mandalas that she signs - “success”, “harmony”, “good”. He listens to music: sometimes classic, and sometimes the album of Mantra Boris Grebenshchikov. These simple joys help to distract from terrible thoughts about the son for a while.

Creative family

Solovievsk is a neat village surrounded by hills, with a population of about three thousand people. In the middle of the XIX century, it was founded by gold miners. Gold still provides the work of local residents: a city -forming enterprise here - JSC PriSk Solovyevsky.

“We don’t have such people who just live in high and rest. Such people leave here, there are those who understand what they are here for. While young - you need to make money to give the future to your children, ”says a friend of Sergei Alexander Menkov.

Olga Alexandrovna always differed from fellow countrymen. Although it grew up in the village, the profession for a place where everything is connected with gold mining was received by an unusual - a teacher of fine art. She always loved to draw, and in a special, “unrealistic” manner.

“I am a storyteller, I love fairy tales, good, warm,” she says.

This is also evidenced by the paintings that the apartment is hung: bouquets of bright orange flowers, hills overflowing in the sun, fabulous, like gingerbread, cities. Olga Aleksandrovna could allow her students at the Solovyevsky Art School, where she worked for 14 years, she could well allow her eyes to the countess or offer the children to draw with both hands at the same time, the main thing is that they were interested and they felt freedom of expression.

Olga Alexandrovna also introduced her children to art. From childhood, daughter Elena has been playing on the accordion. At the age of 14, she left her own village to learn music professionally in Khabarovsk. After graduating from the school, she moved to Moscow, then worked on a round -the -world liner as a musician, then in India, and now lives in the USA.

Olga Alexandrovna is happy to talk about her daughter's travels. She herself has never been even in neighboring China, but loves to read about other countries. At one time she was fond of France, and she touched her news about the destructive fire in Notre Dame de Pari.

“Although I live in the Far East, it hurts me. Do you understand? Probably shouldn't. I planted potatoes, stroked Kotov - and live calmly. No, I'm climbing. Where? To France. What am I sorry for me? It's a pity, because such a monument of culture! Let them even rebuild him, they still will not completely restore it, ”explains Olga Alexandrovna.

Son Sergey, like his mother, was fond of drawing and graduated from the school of art where she taught. True, he chose a more practical profession - an electrician - and got a job in a mine. The authorities of Stenkin were in good account. Last year, his photo was even hung on the Board of Honor.

In Sergey’s left room, the wires and instruments are adjacent to his paintings: here is a take -off plane, which he drew in a technical school, but a Japanese warrior in the style of anime, written a couple of years ago.

The Stenkin family was once complete and friendly. Soon after Olga Alexandrovna, a difficult diagnosis was made, Elena’s father and Sergey threw his family and left the village. Sergei maintains contact with his father, but he does not participate in their life. There are no other relatives who could provide support.

Olga Alexandrovna’s pension is small - 11.5 thousand rubles, so they lived mainly for the salary of her son. All the care of the house and mother lay on the shoulders of Sergey. He bought food and medicine, conducted the household, slowly made repairs in the apartment: he laid a laminate in the hall, made books racks, in the near plans it was to update the ceiling and cleanse the basement from mold.

“He didn’t even go on vacation! You will ask him, and he: “What vacation, guys? I need to do repairs.” He worked constantly in the garden, ”says Olga Mikhno, a neighbor of the Stenkins.

Olga Alexandrovna gradually worsened. Sergei says that for a long time he and his mother had no idea how bad everything was with her knees. The closest specialist doctors are in Blagoveshchensk, and from Solovievsk to him 650 kilometers (about eight hours by bus). For Olga Alexandrovna, such a long journey is a real torture. Only this year she gathered with strength and decided to be examined again. It turned out that the knee joints are practically destroyed, they need to be changed. And this is an expensive and difficult operation. Sergei began to save money for her.

Escape

Sergei no longer remembers what was on the agenda, which at the end of September he was handed in the Solovyov administration. According to him, no one really understood what was happening, and he, along with the others, went to the military registration and enlistment office to the district center, the city of Tyndu, 130 kilometers from the village, "find out what and how." Just in case, he wrote a testament to his mother and asked friends to take care of her.

Once Sergey served a conscript in the army and has a military accounting specialty, so on September 23 in Tynda he was officially mobilized and sent to the military unit in Blagoveshchensk.

Having learned the news, Olga Alexandrovna called her daughter in tears.

“Lena said to me:“ Mom! You're sick! You need help. What are you sitting? How will you live?! ”” Olga Alexandrovna recalls.

Elena immediately began to look for information on the Internet whether her brother could really mobilize. It turned out that, according to the law “On mobilization” to citizens who care for loved ones in need of constant care for health reasons or having a disability, a delay is laid. Only disability was not set for Olga Alexandrovna, everyone somehow put off for later. According to Sergey, he was not needed to take care of his mother.

Elena entered the famous lawyer Karo Zhamkocyana, famous in the Amur Region. He helped the family draw up complaints and appeals to various departments. They attached evidence that Olga Alexandrovna was sick, hardly serving herself in everyday life and needs constant assistance, and her son is the only breadwinner. In parallel, the mother began to collect documents for disability, but the case moved slowly.

Sergei himself says that, being in the unit, he turned to various officials and asked for a delay due to his mother’s illness, but to no avail. On October 21, Sergei took the dismissal to meet with Olga Alexandrovna, who came to Blagoveshchensk for the next portion of medical documents. By that time, he was already desperate to get a delay. According to him, seeing in what bad condition the mother decided not to return to the unit.

The news that Sergei Stenkin “escaped” spread through the village of lightning speed and left everyone in bewilderment. In the village group in Watsap, the debate began, whether it is possible to condemn his act.

“I was a little in shock. I did not even expect that Sergey could be the abyss, ”says Alexander Fomenko, friend and colleague Stenkin.

According to Duldina, Stenkina is a decent family. Sergey is “kind, open guy”. Lena's daughter "diligently learned to play the accordion", "she created herself."

Olga Alexandrovna blames herself: suddenly the son left the service, because at a meeting she pushed him too much about his condition? “Maybe, and in vain I told him everything then? I was very scared that I was alone. I was very worried that one day I could not get out of bed. It’s hard for me to rise every morning. ”

Sergei himself in a telephone conversation says that he left Blagoveshchensk to Novosibirsk for two reasons. The first is to arrange patronage over mom. He hoped that he could prove so that his mother needed his care. The second is to find out where the mother can be done by a complex operation: endoprosthetics. “I thought that something needs to be done. Until my mother was in a wheelchair, ”says Sergey. - I wanted to collect documents and already in all this form to show that the mother is sick and she could not live alone. I did not think to hide. I wanted to come, show, go to court. ”

Stenkin did not succeed in issuing patronage over his mother: not all documents can be issued in another region. And he decided to return home. And on November 30, at the station in the city of Skovorodino - there is a railway station that is closest from Solovievsk - it was detained by a police officer. It turned out that a criminal case has already been instituted against Sergei. Sergei signed a recognizance not to leave and went home to his mother. There he warmed up the frozen pipes again, and on December 7 returned to the unit.

And only in mid -December, Olga Alexandrovna found out that she was put a third group of disability, which did not give the right to delay.

During mobilization for a self -wolf longer than a month, Sergei threatened from five to ten years in prison. Under the investigation, he wrote a report that he agreed to voluntarily go to a “special operation”.

On March 28, the court in Blagoveshchensk sentenced: six years conditionally, five years, a trial period. The lawyer Sergei Karo Zhamkochyan is sure that “this is a great victory of protection, civil society and all caring people” and the court took into account the state of the mother and the desire of Stenkin to become a volunteer.

Sergei himself writes that he will be registered, as it should be conditionally convicted, he will leave, he will return, put his mother on his feet, reaches a trial period and leave Solovievsk. Where exactly, does not say.
