Logan Roy, the father of the family and the founder of the empire

Logan Roy is the embodiment of the American dream: a person who built his own business, starting from the bottom, and achieved the fortune and influence of the decades of permanent work. The work is stubborn and dishonest: the number of compromises and gray transactions with politicians goes to dozens, Logan Roy does not know how to act in any way except the “either you or you” scheme. He is a predator, who gave himself to all his work and retained only formal relations of subordination with children. His communication even with the closest does not differ from behavior with partners: power games, manipulations, emotional pressure and humiliating family rituals for years destroyed a fragile trust between family members. Three of his children are adopted, and only the youngest child is native, but with all the children he built similar relationships as with figures on the chessboard, and his heirs feel it with an interior: they grew up in an atmosphere of constant threat and betrayal.

The main conflict of “heirs” was that Logan Roy created such a vertical of power in his company that all processes are spinning around him and his will, and he is not only morally ready, but also not able to transfer business to other hands.

By the beginning of the fourth season, the modern godfather is isolated from loved ones and loses assets, he calls his children “rats”. The only person with whom he can talk about the meaning of life is his hired guard, but even at the time of weakness and vulnerability, Logan Roy calls all people around the market participants. Connor Roy, the eldest son is out of work

From the first episode, the eldest son of Logan Konnor Roy tries to put himself above the family and political alliances, choosing the image of a hermit heir who is trying to live his own life. The most caricature figure in the family, he cannot succeed in any independent step. His engagement with a Golddiger (a bad actress in a creative crisis) causes ridicule. His independent political career, not backed up by either charisma or knowledge, is not taken seriously by anyone. Its autonomy breaks as soon as it comes to a share in the inheritance. Connor Roya to the core is insulting the condescending and ironic attitude to him of other family members. He is struggling to attract at least some attention to his mediocre figure, offering the bride a scandalous wedding ceremony with jetpeks and the battle of the "homeless" just for the sake of 15 minutes of yellow glory. In other circumstances, such an ignorant person would simply not take into account, but Connor Roy is one of the heirs, with his share and right of the vote, the opinion of which at least formally must be taken into account.

Kendall Roy, Middle Son with great ambitions

Among all the heirs, the path of Kendell Roy is the most winding and controversial. Being a formal daddy successor, whom all professionals in the company and industry consider the parent puppet, Kendall chooses an aggressive alpha behavior in order to approve his status in the father's empire. But in his history - strong drug addiction and divorce. Subconsciously in his own marriage, he copies his father and is not able to maintain confidence and keep promises. The separation from his father is the main psychological goal of Kendalla: he chooses an attack tactics over and over again, tries to break into new media and even reads rap, playing a “bad guy”. But the rich heir is not a place among real rebels and business visionals of the 21st century: progressive media does not accept his republican past, the old guard guard is perplexed to watch youthful sabotage. Having survived the betrayal of his father more than once, Kendall is trying to build an autonomous business, agreeing with the rest of the offended children. The success and long -termity of their alliance will be the main theme of the new season.

Shivon Roy, the only daughter on the second roles

The story of the red -haired Shivon Roy is the destiny of a woman in the “male world”: according to the chronicle in the screensaver, which shows the early years of the Roya family, it is obvious that she was always content with the role of the observer and was not perceived by the rest as a successor. At the beginning of the series, Shivon is not included in the affairs of media imperia, and the main intrigue of her character is a wedding with a clumsy careerist. As the men in the family quarrel and betray the patriarch in the family, Logan decides to bring his daughter closer to him and teases her future inheritance. Always pushed into the background, the most tactful and diplomatic of the heirs, she is preparing for a new status, but once again it is convinced that for her father she has always been and will be a reserve option. Her tactical mistakes, like a hasty marriage with an inappropriate person, strongly undermine Shivon's positions. By the beginning of the fourth season, it is sipked by her father’s influence and chooses a partnership with the brothers, getting off from a passive and subal husband. Her liberation from Roev male in the new chapter of the "heirs" is still ahead.

Roman Roy, younger beloved son, insolent and rude

Living in the shadow of senior Siblings, who does not understand anything in business and accustomed to permissiveness, Roman Roy is the most greyhound and toxic from the family. Being the only native child of Logan, and therefore a subconscious favorite, he did not enter into a direct conflict for many years, and his eyes turned a blind eye to his disgusting behavior and rudeness for years. But as they grow older, Roman Roy discovers many paternal qualities that have repeatedly helped his parent in business: assertiveness, unscrupulousness, the ability to maneuver with benefit for himself and endless egoism, which does not allow him to blindly trust a person or idea. With each new season, Kidalt Roman Roy gains more and more weight and attracts attention as a potential heir - if not the most talented, then the most sophisticated. Two entrepreneurs are fighting in it: the first is for a sharp change in format, the second has a chuyka for big money and other people's weaknesses. In addition, the novel is the only child of the swarm whose sarcasm, directness and rudeness make opponents give specific answers at critical moments. At the beginning of the fourth season, the novel united with the older brother and sister to disrupt his father’s deal, but it seems that this temporary alliance is just a step in his long -term strategy of independent survival.

Tom Wombsgens, Superbuildless son -in -law

The unskilled, recent conformist Tom Uombsgens fell into the Roev family through an unequal marriage with the only daughter of the Shivon family. Many people are perplexed how such a promising bride chose a fussy, inexpressive and slippery man into partners, but Tom will prove that he can survive and even make a career in the terrarium Roev, despite the complete security. The main dilemma for Tom is to support his wife or to dutifully work at the whim of Logan Roy. The marriage by calculation, wrapped in romantic plastic, exposes itself with each series: Tom and Shivon build each of their careers, nominally present as a couple on family events. Together with the same flattering nephew of Logan Roy Greg, Tom is united in a professional tandem in anticipation of crumbs from the bar table. His tactics are guessing and patience: sooner or later, according to his logic, Logan Roy will appreciate his blind devotion and reward his appointment or inheritance. Only the blessing of the Big Boss protects him from the contempt of others: without protecting the father -in -law, the days of such a mediocre and clumsy manager are numbered.
