Donald Trump arrived at the Manhattan District Attorney's office on April 4 and is formally under arrest pending formal criminal charges, CNN reports.
It is expected that soon the former president will be fingerprinted, after which he will be taken to the courtroom. The channel notes that, after the arrest, Trump will probably not be handcuffed and will not be photographed in full face and profile as a suspect in a crime.

- It is known that one of the charges relates to the payment of 130 thousand dollars to the porn actress Stormy Daniels (real name - Stephanie Cliffords), who agreed not to disclose information about her sexual relationship with Trump before the 2016 elections.
- As noted by the American media, Trump became the first former or current president in US history to face criminal charges.
