Here it is worth listing some of the authorized tasks of the Union :

• respect for human rights ",

• "Countering any attempts to establish censorship",

• "Protection of the rights and freedoms of journalists" ...

There is still about cooperation with foreign media and much, much more. But there is no point that Soloviev refers to, promising to clean the rows, that the alleged recognition of the foreigner is an occasion to exclude.

Chentemirov was included in the registry of March 31 - with the wording “participated in the creation and distribution for an unlimited circle of people of foreign agents, received support from foreign sources, and opposed a special military operation in Ukraine”. The Ministry of Justice, although now undertaken to personally comment on the appearance of each new “agent”, as you know, does not present evidence: a presumption of guilt.

What kind of support is charged with George and how exactly he “performed”, he is unlikely to find out. He turned out to be the first acting chairman of the regional branch of the SDR to blacklist. And a year ago, this very branch became the only one that complained to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the introduction of censorship in the country in relation to the description of hostilities in Ukraine (the ban on the famous word and the use of independent sources). Karelian journalists then asked the supervisory authority to verify the legality of the actions of Roskomnadzor, who released the corresponding circular. The decision not to be silent was collegial. The Karelian branch had previously boiled with the State Proposals, including under the former chairman of Belryankovov. This time, a predictable refusal came, not from the GP, but from the mincifre. It was in the spring, and in the fall of Chentemirov was subjected to a virtual attack: within two to three days, online anonymous slopes poured on it.

The persecution began with a little-known website “New Gazing”, which called it by a saboteur, continued in several telegram channels and a dozen Karelian groups on the site in VKontakte (as George claimed by local tsur, that is, with republican officials).

They distributed the same text on the grid. In the “New View”, Elena Krait, ex-employee REN TV and wife Vitaly Borodina, who headed the organization of the FPBK (federal project for security and combating corruption) registered in 2017 in Mytishchi, are indicated in the “new look”. It was called the FBK spoiler (recognized in the Russian Federation an extremist organization, activity is prohibited in Russia), but the former policeman was remembered and supposedly (from his words) the veteran of Syria Borodin is not activism, but by the fact that he wrote denunciations to Badanin’s novel (after which his publication was recognized as an unwanted organization), for “open media” (several employees became foreign agents), on seeds), seeds Slepakova (according to this statement, the Slepakovskaya “Lullaby” is now being checked for discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation).

March 31, after updating the lists of the Ministry of Justice, Borodin in his telegram channel stated that Chentemirov also got into them according to his, Borodina, request. This comment is quite tongue -tied, but indicative: “He wrote many articles on this occasion, when I turned and mentioned me and my spouse in these articles, accusing us that there was no fact of foreign financing, but in the end we proved this fact, and the regulatory authorities established the receipt of money from the West” (spelling and punctuation of the original).

After the autumn persecution of Chentemirov - not the "agent" - decided to leave. He moved to Norwegian Kirkenes, where he works in a tiny independent edition of Barents Observer, which became a kind of shelter for three Russian journalists. He wrote about emigration in social networks, soon access to his page in VK was blocked in Russia.

Chentemirov became the Third Karelian “Ino-Agent”: the first (and the first in Russia in Russia with the status of “Media-Inoagent”) was Freelanger Sergey Markelov*, the second-Alla Konstantinov*from the Mediazone*. The Chentemirov explains such attention to Karelia by the fact that the republic has always been protest: the head of Petrozavodsk, Yablichnitsa Galina Shirshina at one time became one of the most famous mayors in the country, Yabloko is represented in the Republican Legislative Assembly and has tangible support ...

Freedom in the border region of security forces scares more than anywhere else. So they punish: more than a hundred administrative cases of discrediting the army, four criminal and three more criminal cases of fakes, looking for “separatism”, the persecution of those who document repression, the Dmitriev case. They are looking for foreign agents, they do not sit back.

In the fall, after denunciations of Chentemirov, colleagues stood up for him. More than 50 Karelian journalists signed an open support letter . It should be quoted:

There were many bloody pages in the history of our country, when the most honest and courageous people found themselves in camps, prisons, were forced to choose life from their homeland between death and emigration. Judging by the events of the last days, and the truth has come. On April 1, the surname Chentemirova disappeared from the regional branch card on the SDR website. On the same day, Soloviev spoke about his exclusion as a solved case. Although, I repeat, there are no articles in the text of the charter published on the organization’s website. Soloviev spoke of it in October, however, clarifying that this procedure is not automatic and not obligatory, and even forced - so that, receiving contributions, the union itself does not fall into the register. For some reason, for some reason, they did not offer to free the "agents" from the contributions so as not to take risks.

Two years ago, to his, the chairman of the SDR, and completely criticized the law on foreign agents and, as a member of the HRC, even demanded to soften it: to oblige the authorities before introducing the media or journalist to first warn and give the opportunity to “somehow rectify the situation”. The decision to introduce to the register to delegate exclusively to the court. To remove the provisions on the receipt of foreign awards and participation in international events and allow in personal accounts to do without a foreign dick.

To the request of the “New” to clarify the position, Vladimir Soloviev replied that the changes to the charter about the possibility of excluding the foreign journalist are approved at the congress in October, but are still in agreement in the Ministry of Justice, that is, they have not legally entered into force. The main motivation is really fears that, receiving membership fees from the foreign agent, the union itself will be recognized as such, "which would not want." True, this same agent in the organization is only one - Chentemirov.

“This is a special case, since he is the head of the department, so this is not even the point, but that he had left a long time ago, and the department, which is not the best in the country, does not work at all, and this issue must be resolved,” Vladimir Solovyov said in a conversation with the “new”. -Either he will return, continue to work and somehow deal with the situation, or you need to choose someone else.

On the remark that the participants of the organization who chose him who had chosen the chairman had yet shown any discontent, he replied:
