Olga Sitchikhina took Masha Moskaleva from the social rehabilitation center, where she had been for more than a month. This was announced by the Commissioner for Children's Rights under the President Maria Lvova-Belova in her telegram channel.
She stated that at first Masha did not want to live with her mother, but then the girl changed her mind, which she allegedly told Lvova-Belova by phone.
“Olga has already taken Masha from the social rehabilitation center, where she was at the request of her mother. Olga is currently not limited in parental rights, so it was enough to terminate the agreement on the temporary placement of the child in an institution, ”wrote the commissioner for children’s rights.
Masha Moskaleva's father Alexei was sentenced to two years in prison for "discrediting" the Russian army. Before the announcement of the verdict, he fled, but on March 30 he was detained in Minsk. Since then, nothing is known about him. The persecution of Moskalev began after Masha drew an anti-war picture at school.
Moskalev raised his daughter alone. Masha did not communicate with her mother for about seven years. Moskalev's lawyer, Vladimir Bilienko, called the idea of handing over the child to the mother "an agreed breaking of the girl on her knee."
On April 6, a meeting will be held at the Efremov Interdistrict Court of the Tula Region to restrict Alexei Moskalev and Olga Sitchikhina in parental rights.
