The Ministry of Justice included in the register of “foreign agents” journalist Arkady Babchenko and Kroniker LLC, created by “foreign agent” Vladimir Ruvinsky. This is reported on the department's website.
The organization of human rights activist Lev Ponomarev, “Hot Line,” which helps prisoners, was excluded from the list. It was included in the register in February 2019, and in August 2022 the organization was liquidated at the request of the Ministry of Justice.
According to the department, Babchenko “raised funds in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
Former Vedomosti journalist Vladimir Ruvinsky was included in the register of “foreign agents” in August 2022.
