While the senior lieutenant was under investigation, several sentences were issued in Russia under the same article - part 2.1 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code. All of them were charges and with real terms of imprisonment.

This article is new, introduced on September 24 last year (before that they could only dismiss for the refusal to go to the front line). The case against Vasilz was opened on October 19.

Let me remind you that he participated in his February for five months, lost two friends there, after their death he accepted Buddhism and became a pacifist.

And he refused a second business trip before the entry into force of amendments to the Criminal Code. But after the declaration of partial mobilization, the process of dismissal was suspended and again ordered to go to Ukraine. Then the Vasiles repeated his refusal - already realizing that he would be under court for his beliefs.
