Zelensky: Poland will supply Ukraine 200 BTR "Wolverine"

Poland will supply Ukraine with 200 Rosomak armored personnel carriers, of which 100 - in the near future. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, who recently visited Warsaw.

The supply of Polish authorities reported the supply of 100 armored personnel carriers during the visit of Zelensky. The President of Ukraine clarified that another 100 such machines will be delivered in the future.

The President of Ukraine also recalled that Poland fulfilled its promises of the supply of Kyiv Tanks Leopard, MiG-29 aircraft and other equipment.

Ukraine will pay for the supply of combat vehicles from Poland - presumably at the expense of funds provided by the United States and the EU.

According to the Russian BBC service, "Wolverine" is a licensed version of the Finnish combat armored vehicle Patriaamv. On one general chassis, by replacing combat modules, you can make many vehicles of different classes, in particular BTR, BMP, self -propelled mortars, engineering and sanitary vehicles. We are talking about wheeled armored vehicles.

The RZECZPOSPOSPOLITA publication previously wrote that the company in Poland, where these machines are produced, is now capable of producing 100 cars a year, but it is capable of increasing production capacities and increasing the volume of production by half.
