Defense did not appeal the arrest of Daria Trepova

Defense of Daria Trepova, accused under an article on a terrorist attack after an explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg, did not appeal the court order to arrest their client. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the judicial file.

The case card states that the arrest decree entered into force on April 8th. The defense of Trepova either did not appeal the arrest, or did not manage to do this within three days. At the meeting of the collection of preventive measures for Trepova, the defense demanded to appoint a measure not related to deprivation of liberty.

On April 4, Daria Trepova was arrested by the Basmanny Court of Moscow for two months, where she was transferred from St. Petersburg after the detention. The accusations were brought under articles on an organized group and illegal wearing of explosives. The meeting was held closed.

• The explosion in the cafe of St. Petersburg occurred on the evening of April 2. At this moment, a meeting with the wire-bunger Vladlen Tatarsky was held there. He died, dozens of people were injured. Law enforcement agencies detained a 26-year-old resident of St. Petersburg Daria Trepova. She is accused of taking her to a meeting with the Tatar figurine, inside of which there was an explosive device. According to media sources, Trepova could not have guessed that there was explosive in the figurine she transferred to the Tatar matter.
