A protocol was drawn up against a volunteer known among supporters of the war to “discredit” the army. A security officer who listened to his lecture on tactical medicine wrote a denunciation against him.

Volunteer and combat medic Yuri Yevich became a defendant in an administrative case on “discrediting” the Russian army. The case card is published on the website of the Kozelsky District Court of the Kaluga Region.

According to the telegram channel “Survival Technologies - Tactical Medicine” associated with Yevich, the reason for initiating the case was the denunciation of a police officer from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, who listened to lectures by a military doctor on tactical medicine. The silovik considered that during the occupation, Yevich "provoked the creation of a negative assessment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation due to the conduct of a special military operation."

As stated in the message of the telegram channel, the lecture that became the reason for the denunciation lasted more than three hours. However, in the protocol drawn up on Yevich, only four short quotes appear, "taken out of context."

“The cynicism with which the police officer took the words out of context is noteworthy. He did not properly check the information received from the security officer, ignored the explanations and the identity of Yevich Yu.Yu. However, it is not clear which words are being referred to.

Yevich himself, answering questions from the propaganda telegram channel Readovka, suggested that the case against him was initiated by local authorities. According to him, in the course of training with the Far Eastern Russian Guards, it turned out that they do not have proper medical training, as well as the necessary medicines.

Yevich stressed that he "does not plan to run away from the court" because he "didn't do anything wrong."

Yuri Yevich is a surgeon, candidate of medical sciences, senior lieutenant of the medical service of the self-proclaimed DPR. In 2014-2015, he fought in the Donbass, and in 2022 he went to fight on the side of Russia as a volunteer, having received the medal "For Courage" at the front.

Evitch is one of the main promoters of tactical medicine in Russia. He has written 14 works on this discipline and regularly conducts classes with members of the Russian security forces.

The news that a case was opened against Jevic caused a great uproar among pro-war bloggers and telegram propaganda channels. Most of them condemned the denunciation of the doctor, but there were also those who noted that high professionalism is not a hindrance to being a "traitor".

One of the telegram channels suggested that the reason for the denunciation of Yevich could be his words that the medical tourniquets supplied to the Russian army, due to their poor quality, must be cut in a special way before use.
