The 28-year-old police sergeant Roman Nasryev since the end of 2016 worked as a driver in the Russian Guard, and 37-year-old Alexei Nuriev served as a commander in the fire and rescue service of the Ministry of Emergencies. They went to the same school and retained friendly relations during all this time. Both played in the Room32 rock band, in which the novel was a drummer, and Alexei was a bass player and vocalist. Both have children.
On the night of October 11, 2022, unknown people broke glass on the ground floor and threw three bottles with Molotov cocktail into the BAKAK city administration building in the Chelyabinsk region. In that building there is a military accounting table. The fire did not have time to spread - a piece of linoleum was melted and the information stand buried a little. Flamming on an area of 3 square meters. m was able to extinguish the grandmother.
On the same day, on suspicion of arson, Nasryev and Nuriev were detained. On October 13, they were sent to a pre -trial detention center. Initially, the “destruction or damage to property committed from hooligan motives” (part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code) was charged to the novel and Alexei, but as soon as the FSB set to work, the prosecution was re -qualified as a “terrorist act committed by a group of persons” (paragraph “a” of part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code). Later, an article was added to the prosecution about the “undergoing training in order to carry out terrorist activities” (Article 205.3 of the Criminal Code).
According to the prosecution,
After the announcement of the partial mobilization of Nasryev and Nuriev, they joined the “criminal conspiracy” and began to look for information about the manufacture of Molotov cocktails and the methodology of their use. After that, according to the investigation, friends made Molotov cocktails and worked out the skills of throwing bottles.
Actually, this is the Chekists and considered the "training in order to carry out terrorist activities." According to the investigation, the actions of Nasryev and Nuriev were aimed at disrupting the mobilization measures carried out by the administration and the termination of a special military operation.
The prosecution calls Nasryev and Nuriev “supporters of radical anarchist ideas”, also characterizes them as “having radical views experiencing hatred of the constitutional system of the Russian Federation, state and municipal authorities, as well as its population.”
In mid -January, the case of Roman and Alexei was transferred to the Central District Military Court. During the process, they partially pleaded guilty - only in the part that they were arson. But they rejected the accusations in the terrorist attack and the training of terrorist activities.
Nuriev, in his testimony at the trial, called their trials with Molotov cocktails "a simple boy." According to him, he and his comrade began to do this before the announcement of partial mobilization and at the time of filming video with “tests” did not think about setting fire to some building. “It was just interesting how to make them [“ Molotov’s cocktails ”],” he explained.
In turn, Nasryev explained that there was no training in terrorist activity.
“I think that in order to throw a bottle, no training is required. We were not going to perform any terrorist acts, and therefore we did not need to learn this, ”said Nasryev.
They do not deny that they are negatively related to their own and the decision of the Russian authorities on the announcement of partial mobilization in the country. At the same time, Nasryev assured that he did not want to destabilize the activities of the authorities or to influence them, according to the investigation, and realized that the arson of the building would not lead to the cessation of the call.
“At that time, I knew from social networks that, making such shares, people express their disagreement with [partial] mobilization and his. From conversations with others, I concluded that such actions do not cause fear among the people, since no one has ever suffered them. <...> I wanted to show with my action that in our city there are also disagreements with [partial] mobilization of both his, and nothing more. In this way, he wanted to convey his position of disagreement, he wanted my voice to be heard, ”Nasryev said during interrogation in court, adding that he gave his first testimonies without a lawyer and under pressure. He later abandoned these testimonies.
Nuriev also said that they did not have a plan to set fire to the military-class table located in the administration building. He noted that he knew about the arson of the military enlistment offices in other regions, but he believed that “minor punishments” were appointed for such crimes.
Indeed, security forces in different regions aroused a case of hooliganism or damage to property on the facts of arson. However, later the defendants in cases of the arson of military enlistment offices and buildings of administrative or power structures began to re -qualify the charges of “terrorism”.
The first verdict under the article on the attack for the arson of the military registration and enlistment office, the Central Military Court issued at the end of January this year. A resident of Nizhnevartovsk Vladislav Borisenko received 12 years in a maximum security colony.
Another sentence was sent a month ago in Moscow in the 2nd Western District Military Court, a 22-year-old resident of Lukhovitz near Moscow Kirill Squylin. He was sentenced to 13 years in a maximum regime.
The prosecutor’s office in the debate of the parties requested 19 years of imprisonment for Nayryev and Nuriev.
The lawyers of both defendants said that the requested punishment of their client was disproportionate and asked to re -qualify the actions of the defendants for arson. However, the three military judges, chaired by Artem Makarov, completely agreed with the position of state prosecution and sentenced young people to exactly such a time that the prosecutor's office requested. According to the court’s decision, the first four years, Roman and Alexei will be held in prison, the remaining 15 years in a maximum security colony. Both are deprived of military ranks.
