In Altai, a local resident was fined under the article of “discrediting” the army because of one voice message in the messenger

The Volchikhinsky District Court of the Altai Territory fined local resident Irina Fisher 30,000 rubles under an article about “discrediting” the Russian army because of a voice message in a WhatsApp group. Mediazona drew attention to this.

As follows from a post on the telegram channel of the press service of the courts of the Altai Territory, while at home, Fisher posted in the public domain in the WhatsApp messenger group “a negative audio message aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces.” It also notes that a resident of the Altai village “understood the significance of her actions.”

During the meeting, Fisher fully admitted her guilt and, according to the press service of the court, repented. The decision on the fine has not yet entered into force.
