A student at a closed special school in Yekaterinburg spoke about the practice of beatings and rape in the institution. One of the students was arrested

The Chkalovsky District Court of Yekaterinburg arrested a 16-year-old pupil of the closed special school No. 124 in the case of sexualized violence against a 12-year-old student. This is reported by the publication "Vecherniye Vedomosti" with reference to the press service of the court. Earlier, regional and federal publications spoke about the complaint of one of the children who had run away from school about beatings and rape in the institution. His mother filed a complaint with law enforcement.

The child, who is now 13 years old, told Vecherniye Vedomosti that one of the special school teachers held so-called "comrades' courts." Several teenagers of different ages took part in them at once, including “guilty” children. At these "courts" schoolchildren during the voting decided what to do with the "accused": "smell", "smell" or let go.

“The highest measure is to “suffocate”. This is when they can piss, perform anal, oral sex, ”said a student who escaped in March of this year to 66.ru. “The teacher said, and the guys will do it. The teacher is like nothing. But everyone knows what is happening,” says the teenager. Some children were forced to bang their heads against a wall, kneel in a corner, or sit on a chair in a certain position after such “trials”.

According to the escaped teenager, he himself was not subjected to such punishments, but at the end of September 2022 he witnessed sexualized violence against a 12-year-old pupil of the institution. Togo was “punished” for “deceiving teachers and peers,” writes 66.ru.

The mother of a teenager who escaped from the institution contacted the police. The family's lawyer, Georgy Krasnov, told e1.ru that the teacher who "supervised" the "comrades' courts" is 70 years old. “In September-October, two older guys raped one of the boys, forced him to have oral sex after such a meeting. The victim has now been interrogated and confirms everything, ”the defender notes.

Lawyer Krasnov told Vecherniye Vedomosti that a criminal case had been initiated against two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, who took part in the rapes (clause “b” of part 4 of Article 132 of the Criminal Code). One of the suspects was taken into custody, the other escaped. The exact number of affected children is not reported. Vecherniye Vedomosti notes that all of them were less than 14 years old.

The Ministry of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region announced that the director of special school No. 124 was suspended from work.
