The first witness in the case of a terrorist attack, in which Militaryor Vladlen Tatarsky died, became a defendant in a criminal case

The 27-year-old Petersburger Dmitry Kasintsev, in whose apartment after April 2 at the Street Bar on the University Bar university embankment, 26-year-old Daria Trepova (so far the only accused of the attack) became accused of the case against himself.

As the Novaya United press service of the courts was informed, Kasintsev is accused under Article 205.6 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation-“Failure of Crime”. On April 13, the Leninsky District Court of St. Petersburg elected Kasintsev a preventive measure in the form of house arrest until June 10.

The court was held closed. The accusation motivated this already habitually: "In order not to disclose the data of the preliminary investigation."

As the Novaya said, earlier Kasintsev took place the only witness in the case of a terrorist attack, which officially received such a status. Siloviki detained Dmitry on the morning of April 3 in an apartment in the Vyborg district of the city simultaneously with Daria. Both were immediately taken to the Investigative Committee.

The fate and statuses of the detainees on the night of April 3 in the suburbs of St. Petersburg of the mother, stepfather and sisters of Trepova are still unknown.

According to some St. Petersburg media and telegram channels, in the first interrogations of the Kasintsev claimed that he did not know anything about the impending explosion in a cafe, he was never involved in Trepova’s affairs and sheltered Daria in his apartment only by the kindness of sincere.

According to lawyers surveyed by the “new”, according to the article, which is now charged with Kasintsev, he can threaten either a fine of up to 100 thousand rubles, or forced work for up to one year, or imprisonment for a period of one year.

Recall that Daria Trepova herself, by decision of the Basmanny Court of Moscow, was sent for two months on April 3. On April 11, Trepova’s lawyer Daniil Berman appealed this measure of restraint in the Moscow City Court. The date of consideration of the complaint has not yet been scheduled.
