In St. Petersburg, they submitted the first application in the country for a rally against “electronic summons”, the planned introduction of which has become the main topic of recent days in Russia.

The initiators of the rally - Petersburg "Yablons" (Anatoly Golov, Dmitry Anisimov and the author of these lines) - want to hold it on April 23 in the city of Murino, which is located on the border of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, near the Devyatkino metro station, but formally belongs to the territory of the region.

The administration of Murino confirmed that she received a notification of the rally and that it was under consideration.

Why in Murino? Everything is simple: in St. Petersburg, for three years, under the pretext of coronavirus danger, public events have been prohibited.

This absurd ban on today is stubbornly and over and over again prolonged by the governor of the city Alexander Beglov - despite the sharp decrease in the incidence of Covid and despite the fact that it is already assigned to Rospotrebnadzor to seasonal diseases. Even single pickets in St. Petersburg cannot be carried out - participants can be detained right there. True, all this applies exclusively to opposition actions -
