Megaphone, MTS, Tele2 and Beeline enjoy the subscribers about the need to clarify personal data - and threaten to turn off if this is not done. According to the Law on Communications, they are really obliged to do this. And the mass mailing is explained by the strengthening of the struggle of Roskomnadzor with the "gray" SIM cards.
At the same time, in notification, operators ask subscribers to clarify the data through an account on the "public services". However, this is not the only affordable way.
What happened. The operators of the "Big Four" massively send their customers notifications with the requirement to update personal data under the threat of blocking. According to Kommersant, this has been happening since the beginning of April, readers of Papers have received such messages from the end of March.
Basically, the notifications are asked to clarify the data through the public services portal. But this is not the only affordable way.
How to clarify the data. There are three ways to clarify the subscriber data:
1. Through authorization on "public services". It is not required to enter the portal specially: you need to tie the personal account at the operator of the communication to the account on the “public services”, then through the personal account in the application or on the operator’s website, log in to the portal.
2. Through the communication salon. You can just come and provide your passport.
3. Through the application or website of the operator without authorization on “public services”. This method is suitable for those who do not have an account on the portal or have other technical restrictions (one of the readers of the “paper” “public services” give an error when trying to clarify the data). True, it is not available to all operators.
The Megafon needs to fill out the feedback form , indicating in it F.I. O., the phone number and the email address, as well as attaching photographs or scan copies of the passport pages.
MTS has a MTS ID system: through it it will be necessary to make a selfie and scan the pages of a passport. The operator promises to confirm the data after this within a few seconds.
Update. Remotely allows you to clarify the personal data of Beeline, the reader, who managed to do this, told Paper . On the operator’s website, such an opportunity is not indicated, but the support service in the answer to the reader “Paper” asked to send a hand -filled out and signed written application, the contract number and phone number, a copy of the passport pages to the address of otvet@beeline.ru. The application form can be requested from the support operator, it follows from the message.
What is the reason. In Roskomnadzor, Kommersant reported that the agency was checking the reliability of subscribers in order to fulfill the requirements of the legislation to combat illegal SIM cards. According to the source of the publication in the market, it is with this that the newsletter is associated with all large communication operators.
In Roskomnadzor, it was reported that they were asking for subscribers to clarify the data whose specially developed system in automatic mode revealed false information. The department requires the operators to clarify the data of such customers or stop the provision of services.
The interlocutor of Kommersant notes that now up to 20 million active subscribers with unconfirmed data are registered in the Russian communication market - when they turn it off in one month, operators will lose up to 7 billion rubles.
