The St. Petersburg Parliament published information on the income and expenses of deputies of the Legislative Assembly. Now, instead of names and surnames, “deputy 1”, “deputy 9” and so on are indicated there. In early February, Vladimir Putin signed a law that allows deputies and senators not to publish information about income in the public domain. They will continue to submit declarations about their income and expenses, but on the Internet they will publish only generalized statistical information without personal data. Later, St. Petersburg deputies also allowed themselves to depers up of income declarations. Dmitry Peskov said that the new procedure for submitting declarations would not affect the fight against corruption and noted that "their conditions are introduced."
